小橋賢児、俳優を辞めてから「死の淵をさまよったりした」
映画『Noise』のヨーロッパプレミアが第25回レインダンス映画祭で開催され、松本優作監督と小橋賢児（NHK連続テレビ小説「ちゅらさん」など）らキャストが上映後に観客の質問に答えた。2008年の秋葉原無差別殺傷事件を題材にした本作では、松本監督が脚本、編集も手掛けている。 「24歳、（劇場長編映画）デビュー作」と紹介された松本監督はロンドンの観客から大きな拍手を受けた。事件当時10代だった松本監督は、デビュー作の題材として秋葉原無差別殺傷事件を取り上げた理由について、「その頃に僕の大事な友人が自殺しました。その時は映画を作ろうと思ったわけではありませんが、その二つのことがずっと心に残っていました」と明かす。
登場するキャラクターは、加害者、被害者、第三者的人物が善悪で分かれているわけではない。どの立場にしろ、それぞれに追い詰められ、ギリギリのところで生きている。
しばらく俳優業から遠ざかっていた小橋賢児（近年はイベントプロデュース業で活躍）が「俳優を辞めてから、お金も無くなったり、体を壊して死の淵をさまよったりしました。一歩間違えたら自分も加害者のようになったかもしれないと他人事ではなく感じるようになりました」と口にしたのをはじめ、キャスト皆が自分の身に引き寄せて考えたというのがわかる切実な映画だ。（取材・文：山口ゆかり / Yukari Yamaguchi）
